Shallow Earth Technologies Inc. was founded in 2012 by Joe Gouthro after spending 25 years in the geophysical consulting industry in western Canada. The company was initially founded to provide rental instrumentation to the industry, though followed shortly into consulting services due to inherent demand. Being a small group allows us to develop proprietary equipment as well as the ability to offer the best hardware and software to meet clients' expectations and objectives. We believe this is an asset to both us and our clients. We are a boutique firm in the industry, and proud of it.

Brett Bezo, General Manager
Joe Gouthro is the President of Shallow Earth Technologies Inc., and has been working in near surface geophysics since 1987. His 34 years of experience include many sectors of industry: Oil and gas exploration, mining, engineering, and environmental.
Brett Bezo is the general manager of Shallow Earth Technologies Inc., and has a background of 33 years in business management. Among other duties he's the company safety officer.

Jorge Barrientos, BSc.
Kien Do is a project geophysicist with Shallow Earth Technologies Inc., and has been employed with the company for 5 years. He has considerable experience in near surface methods, and comes from an oil and gas background.
Jorge Caballero is a geophysicist in training at Shallow Earth Technologies Inc., he earned his degree in Mexico, and has worked for the company for 2 years. Jorge comes from an oil and gas background in Mexico.
